So you say you like challenges? Are you up for THIS challenge? It’s quite the challenge, it entails ridding yourself of items you no longer use or keep in your attic. This minimalist challenge is for the advanced minimalist if you ask me for narrowing down your personal inventory down to 100 is quite insane. Although, they do give collectors a break stating that if you per se collect art pieces you can consider the collection as an item.
If you feel as though you have a cluttered space then I think you should take on this challenge, for an uncluttered space equals peace of mind. You do not have to necessarily narrow it to 100 items exact, you can set out your own number; to each his own.

A Minimalist’s Train of Thought:
What it means to me and
What its Benefits are…
People always ask why I became a minimalist, and my answer is always:
The less you have and do, the more you will feel free.
That simple sentence took me 3 years in the making to understand, so I’ve come up with the following to help you understand my the logic behind what that sentence means to me:
A Minimalist’s Train of Thought
Less money spent means more money saved
More money saved means the longer you can live in financial peace and security
Financial peace and security comes from owning less
Less stuff owned means less to carry around, move or have to travel with
Less responsibility for your stuff also means less maintenance and more time
The more time you have, the more relaxed you will feel

- Change to Fluorescent Bulbs – If every house in the United States changed all of the light bulbs in their house, that would be equivalent to taking one million cars off the streets.
- Don’t Rinse – Skip rinsing your plates before putting them into the dishwasher. In average you will save 15 gallons of water per load. Plus, you will save time.
- Hang Outside to Dry – Get a cloths line or rack to dry your cloths. Your cloths will last longer and you will save money.
Ever feel like you need a quick change in shoes, but home is so far away that you have no choice, but to stay in the pair you’ve chosen? Well, you no longer have to carry your whole pairs of shoes, why not just swap the front or back end of it?

Many of us work a 9-5 job and plenty of times we are invited to a date or to join happy hour with our girls, but we don’t want the burden of having to carry our pumps in our bags, no, that’s such a hassle! So why not try the modular shoes and go from flats to pumps in a quick second!

Yes, ladies, it is no joke! Stephanie Simek has done it big time. Consider this garment your new best friend especially if you’re always on the run like me and live in a very unpredictable environment such as Miami, FL where one minute is shining and the next is pouring.
In a quick flash you can run to the groceries on a rainy day with your hoodie, contribute to the planet by not using bags and turning the hoodie into a bag and finally head on to the gym with your sporty shirt that was recently your bag. Whoa, wasn’t that a easy fix to your daily errands? Although a bit pricy in the long run this triple thread item that can be braided, twisted, wrapped, knotted and much more is definitely worth buying.

If I were to tell you that inside this box you can fit an armoire, a desk, a height-adjustable stool, two more stools, a six-shelf bookcase, and a bed with a mattress, would you believe me or just think I’m simply delusional? Well, guess what? I am sane and inside this box does fit all those items I mentioned above.
Casulo was designed by Marcel Krings & Sebastian Mühlhäuser, and it won an award for its “cleverness, finesse and qualitative realisation of the idea” back in November 2007. Your entire apartment can fit into this small 31″x47″ (that’s 80 cm x 120 cm) box which can be lifted by two people. Each piece takes about 10 minutes to assemble/disassemble.
So if you happen to be like me a nomad or a frequent mover then you definitely cannot go wrong with a Casulo.
I now leave you with a short video of how the Casulo is assembled, enjoy and to all the nomads consider purchasing it.

Its audio system ranges from above 20kHz to less than 40 Hz, essentially by using a unique configuration of Airsound drivers and a transparent NXT panel speaker, the Amplamp is able to create a 360 degree spatial sound with realistic staging.
The Amplamp is available in black or white and with a choice of shade making it versatile enough to suit any room decor/theme. You’ll definitely impress your guests when they notice that your lamp not only lights up a room, but also pumps it up!
All you are really required to do is connect/plug your audio source and pump up that Amplamp.
